A superb collection of outtakes/jams! There are some instense rockers "Lover Man"/"Look Over Yonder"/"Midnight", some jazz "South Saturn Delta", funk rock "Power Of Soul", awesome instrumental compositions "Tax Free"/"Pali Gap", delta blues "Midnight Lightning" plus a cool version of the Bob Dylan tune "Drifter's Escape".

A very good compilation of Jimi's leftovers. Several songs were released in other posthumous albums but it also includes cuts that had never been released before. These are very good individual songs but don't expect this to feel like a cohesive album. You might find the "War Heroes" album interesting as well if you can find a copy.
