About the Author

A native of Akron, Ohio, Brandon Caine found his calling and passion to cuisine as a young child experimenting in his mother’s kitchen. Brandon later enrolled in Le Cordon Bleu Institute of culinary Arts in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, where he received an associate’s degree in Specialized Technology. Upon graduation, Brandon was selected to do his internship at Disney World in Orlando, Florida under the supervision of Chef Puli. Over the past 10 years, Brandon has secured several positions as Head Chef, Kitchen Supervisor, Executive Chef, Food and Beverage Director, and currently, Brandon is a Culinary Instructor at Virginia College, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In 2015, Brandon stepped out in faith to pursue his own catering business which he named “Northern Exposure”. Since then, Brandon has grown and expanded his business, partnering with a local Restaurant Owner to provide exceptional service and quality food. On any given day, Chef Brandon can be found creating signature dishes birthed from ideas that have brewed over night while sleeping or even collective thoughts he’s gathered about food and recipes.
