About the Author

My books are fun, short books about the history of jewelry. Each is packed with information. They are loaded with photographs. If you 'd like to collect jewelry but don't know where to start, these e-books give a concise overview.
I have been an avid collector of estate and costume jewelry since college and dealer of jewelry for 14 plus years. I have written historical descriptions for an independent dealer's web-site and blog at www.jewelryhistorian.blogspot.com. My latest jewelry adventure includes metal-smithing and learning to make fine and costume jewelry. I've got a few pieces up on Etsy in my Opulent Artifacts shop.

I'm a member of Costume Jewelry Collectors International and earned a B.F.A. from Carnegie-Mellon University.
