Overview

Earth is surrounded by space, and people have been studying this fascinating subject ever since the first humans looked up into Earth’s sky. Our ancestors used their eyes alone, but today we have powerful telescopes to show us distant space objects. Space: The Animated 3-D Guide is a fun and detailed look at the planets, constellations, and everything else in our massive universe.

Filled with all the latest research, this is an interactive resource for every space enthusiast. Colorful illustrations offer a detailed look at the secrets of outer space, from our own solar system to distant supernovas. Readers can witness an asteroid crashing into Mercury, men landing on the moon, and the stars of the night sky through animated pictures. They’ll examine a modern space suit on the oversized poster, which allows them to raise the astronaut’s visor, inspect the technical equipment, and look inside the space shuttle Atlantis as well.

Get lost in space! Space: The Animated 3-D Guide takes you all over the cosmos.
