Marlene receives an email from her daughter-in-law Adele. One of those forward this mail to twenty people and you will get good luck and if you do not forward it, great doom will befall you. She deletes the email by accident and that night as an ominous shadow follows her, she dies from a heart attack.
The story lets you know each person. Lynette Ferreira in this story writes mostly about the people and then knitted into their lives the evil of prolonged malevolent thoughts.
An evil woman, perhaps a witch, lives on human blood, which keeps her sated and somehow prolongs her life (maybe she is a vampire). After many years and as the world had changed and became more populated, she obviously could no longer convince the local tribes to worship her, so she turned to thoughts and somehow projected her feelings into our digital network.
When the message was deleted by people who ignored the warning, the 'witch' then emerged from the screens of people's computers, and they died of heart attacks, which in turn strengthened the 'witch'
Adele and Lisa (Marlene's daughter) go on a hunt for this evil, before E'lisa, who had also deleted the message is killed.
The end is a scary thought, and from now on I will forward all these mails, because you just never know.
I enjoyed this story very much and it was just scary enough for me, without any gory additions that would have made me cringe.
