With a college degree in Anthropology/Archaeology, I found this book interesting and full of detail. I was hoping to find a book with a more historical approach, but instead the book provided detailed accounts of archaeological surveys and excavations. The book was divided into chapters of essays written by different archaeological specialists, ie. zooarchaeology, architectural archaeology, botanoarchaeology. This book would be great for anybody conducting research in the archaeology of Florida, as it provides many detailed accounts in which the researcher can use as referrences. As far as an historical account, I would suggest you search for another book.
