"What do you want," he asked carefully.
Instead of answering him immediately, Susan crossed the room and pulled his chair away from the desk. Taking her time, she sat down, and looked up at him, considering.
"Well?" he asked, impatience and anger returning. "You want something, right? So what do you want?"
Susan took one more deep breath, composing herself. She smoothed her pants with her hands, wiping the sweat from them. Then, she looked up at her boss, taking his eyes and holding onto them.
"I want you," she told him, her voice level, "to drop your pants, and lie across my lap."
