Editorial Reviews

Original manuscript - Dr. Arye Rubinstein
“SPARK IGNITED” is a unique account of the arduous road of four former gentiles, now Jews, seeking access to the spiritual heights of Orthodox Judaism. For an Israeli born to a family of mixed roots, secular Zionism, orthodoxy, followed by skepticism and disbelief of holocaust survivors and return to orthodoxy, this is a most inspiring book. I would certainly recommend this book to any Jew and to non-Jews who are seeking spiritual absolute truths. It was amazing and it strengthened
Original manuscript - Sara Yocheved Rigler
Every page of Spark Ignited throbs with the power of the pure search for Truth. I have known Michaela Lawson for many years, but I had no idea of how steep and rugged her path up the mountain was until I read this book. I assumed she had climbed Mt. McKinley when really she had scaled Everest. As an Orthodox Jew, I am alerted by her warnings of Christian infiltrations into the Jewish world. I recommend Spark Ignited to every Jew. It is an eye-opener.
Paperback edition - Rabbi Avraham Feld
The renowned poet Emily Dickinson said one should feel physically very moved to know if a written piece was poetry! Spark Ignited certainly qualifies for poetry in motion: consciousness awakening with rare wisdom. Franz Kafka once said one should only read books which bite and sting one. A book must be an axe which smashes the frozen sea within us. This Spark Ignited does and does well: the job of melting a ‘frozen sea’. Astonishingly frank, deep, and beautiful, Spark Ignited lives

This book is a must read for anyone whose soul has been stirred

This book is a must read for anyone whose soul has been stirred by Judaism while searching for spiritual home. I am a Christian - but - have had nagging doubts and have had much contact with both religious and non-religious Jews - my conclusion long ago, while working at a Glatt Kosher hospital, that there is something true, and loving, and real, and substantial about that entire place. This book confirmed my longstanding belief that I needed to go deeper into my love of Judaism and that I was certainly not alone in my search.
