How does Speak Spanish with Dora and Diego work?
Spanish is taught in a completely organic way, similar to how children are learning their native language. New words are introduced and then practiced. Once a word is taught, it's used in different ways, allowing children to adapt their new language skills to everyday situations.
On the CDs, Dora, Diego and Boots speak Spanish. Children learn by repeating the words and phrases aloud. While listening and speaking, children follow along in the books to see what's being described. This allows children to start thinking in Spanish.
Each audio program ends with a sing along session of Spanish children's songs to complete the learning experience.

This is a great way to teach yourself and your kids some Spanish. While riding in the car or catching quiet time at home with your children, you can read along, listen and turn the page when the prompt comes on. You hear a native speaker so the pronunciation and accent are right on. The story is also written in English so you know exactly what the Spanish means. With great color illustrations, thie is a great way to "aprender el espanol"!

This is a great way for kids to learn Spanish while riding in the car or during quiet time with Mom and Dad. Even the parents learn Spanish by listening along with the kids as it is authentic Spanish spoken by a native speaker. Everyone wins; everyone learns!
