Speaking for Themselves: Ethnographic Interviews with Adults with Learning Disabilities by Paul J. Gerber and Henry B. Paul J. Gerber, Ph.D., is a renowned expert in the field of learning disabilities, with 40 years of experience as a teacher, professor, researcher, and author. He holds the prestigious Ruth Harris Endowed Professorship in Dyslexia Studies at the School of Education, Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. Henry B. Reiff, Ph.D., is a distinguished writer, public speaker, researcher, and leader in the field of learning disabilities. A faculty member at McDaniel College since 1989, Dr. Reiff has also served as Dean of Student Academic Life and Dean of Graduate and Professional Studies for 19 of those years. Currently, he is a Professor of Education and the Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Special Education, where he actively counsels young adults with learning differences.
