Meet the Author

One of David Hutchison's personal business principles is to "have fun, enjoy the process, raise the bar of what is possible, & lead by example." He began his career in personal development & training back in high school when his parents exposed him to self-help books, business seminars, & sales tape programs. He put those early teachings to use after college by embarking on his 1st sales position selling vacation property. He joined Robbins Research International (RRI), Tony Robbins' company, as a field sales representative, & quickly rose to the top of the RRI organization by setting personal sales records. After leaving the RRI organization he co-founded the "Heroes & Legends Business Network" a program designed to give professionals an ongoing success roadmap for gaining the edge in both their personal lives & business careers. In 2001 he joined software startup Vertel Corporation as VP of Sales & grew the company's revenues from $0 to a run rate of $35+ million in only 2 years.

Since the age of 22, Michael Hutchison has lived in the trenches & knows what it takes to succeed. He possesses a rare combination of leadership & speaking talent. He began his training career when he joined Robbins Research International (RRI), Tony Robbins' company. Michael led RRI to record growth for 7 consecutive years. While there, he co-created Mastery Univ & conducted 100's of trainings. He recruited & developed more talent & leaders than anyone else in the history of the company. In 1998, Hutch joined Interactive Telesis & in less than 2 years, sales increased 6 X's fold. He helped the stock price increase from .50 to over $5 per share. In 2002 he joined software startup Vocalocity & grew thecompany's revenues from ground zero & helped to raise $14.5 million in venture capital. Working with Cisco Systems, he grew Spanlink's revenues from scratch into the most productive commercial region in the country. Michael is currently the CEO/Managing Director of 3 profitable companies.

Helped me with sales and every day life

This is my go-to book when I need to brush up on my skills before doing a presentation, interview or anything dealing with people on a formal level. What can I say? Life is about psychology, presentation and relationships. This book brings it all home.
