About the Author

Robin Turner has over ten years of counseling experience providing individual, substance abuse, and marriage and family counseling. Turner also facilitates parenting courses. As the founder of Supporting Our Youth Mentoring Program (SOYOU), she provides counseling, mentoring, life coaching services, and leadership development to Youth ages fifteen and older. Robin's passion is to encourage and support the youth in her community to proudly be who they are and to live a life of purpose.Sherry Sheffield is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor who has been in the Social Services field for over ten years. During that time, she has worked in Child Welfare, Nursing, Foster Care, with Individuals with Developmental Disabilities, and within the criminal justice system. To give incarcerated people a voice, Sherry worked with inmates to author a book entitled Unheard Voices. She has been called to help those struggling with self worth and self esteem through the power of spirituality and faith. Sheffield is passionate about helping people identify their strengths and use them to create a meaningful and peaceful life.
