    more from this reviewer

    Great skill-builder!

I am a tutor and am using this workbook with a client.
It is a great aid to help me know exactly where my client's skills are and in what areas they may need help. It's easy to understand and has become a favorite tool of mine during a tutoring session.

The only complaint I have is that the answer key has a couple of typos. It can be rather frustrating to think that you have the right answer but the answer key says otherwise. Not a major issue but one worth noting for anyone who buys this workbook and is confused because of the answer key.

    Great Summer practice.

My daughter is starting 6th grade next year and has a hard time with math. So I got this book and we have been working together a couple of pages a day. About half the book is things that she covered in 5th grade and with the little extra practice she is now saying "OH, now I get it!" The new things will help her get a little bit of a start on understanding this years work. Should take a lot of the stress out of doing math in class.

    Great review book.

This book is great to review the concepts a child should know by the end of 6th grade in America. The lessons are very well organized and thoroughly explained. This book is not ideal for foreign students of the indicated grade. If you need a review book for a student from a foreign country, the upper level books would be more appropriate. I use both the 7th and 8th grade books for my foreign 6th graders.
