I hate it. This totally crazy thing i ever seen. This is no understanding but problem. How could a person who didn't learn solve the problem! Most terrible thing is there is no explain even in answer key. I have no idea why i bought this awful thing.

    Read before you purchase!!!!!

I honestly do not like this book. It does not give examples that actually fit the problem. It gives easy examples then the problems will be really hard and not fully explained. I would not recommend this book for a 7th grader that is not really smart in Math.

    Love it...

I homeschool and purchased this for my son to use. The examples are easy to understand. There's plenty of room to work out the problems. There's an answer key in the back. The pages are perforated. Has everything a good math workbook needs. However, I think the work in this book is more at sixth grade level than seventh. It's also a bit repetitious, but all math books are.

Excellent workbook for an advanced pre-6th grader

My child is a post-5th grader in the school's gifted & talented program. In order to keep her challenged, I used this workbook over the summer for practice in pre-algebra math skills. Chapter 1 is a arithmetic review (skipped almost all of it); Chapter 2 is about fractions and Chapter 3 is about decimals; Chapter 4, 5, & 6 is about ratios, proportions (use of variable n), percentages, etc. We skipped most of the remaining chapters on interest, metric measurement, and geometry except for Chapter 10 which is about perimeter and area. I highly recommend this book for a student at the appropriate level.
