    Great Workbook

I bought this Spectrum Reading Grade 3 workbook for homeschooling my son. At the beginning of the year, he hated reading. I sometimes had to push him to do this workbook, but now he is great at reading, and even enjoys it! We do 2 pages per day, which includes a one page story and illustration, plus a page of questions about the story. The questions are often about vocabulary found in the story, and comprehension about the story. The stories are all different, but flow together, for example, one day you might read about farming, the next day about growing wheat, the next day about making bread... etc. In my opinion, the stories are kind of "young" for a third grader, but they use alot of great vocabulary, too. These stories could be boring to a more advanced reader. All together though, I would def. recommend this book, and would def. use it again!
