    Good Starter Book

    Overall a good starter book for people who want to test the design "waters". Informative and user friendly and not so heady that it scares off the amateur. The illustrations/photos are beautifully done and help visualize a cohesive look. I especially appreciated the fact that each room of a home is touched upon including the entry which can be a neglected area. Great bullet point sections to cover the fundamentals and hit the key points. The writter is very personable in her style and delivery method of the information. There is also an excellent resource section in the back that is invaluable for the starter designer who doesn't have the contacts yet to draw upon. I would most definitley recommend this book to others who have the interest or desire to learn more either for themselves or for the person hoping to make the decision whether or not to make a transition into this line of work.
