THE REALITY BEHIND REALITY TV—HOLLYWOOD’S FAVORITE MOM-STAR TELLS IT LIKE IT IS

Tori Spelling is the first to admit that the “reality” behind her popular television show, Tori & Dean, isn’t always real. Not even Star Magazine could invent the true chaos that happens behind the scenes. Luckily, Tori is famously honest and self-deprecatingly funny when it comes to her personal life. She’s always Spelling It Like It Is…

Life is never boring at Tori’s house, but since her New York Times bestselling memoirs sTORI Telling, Mommywood, and Uncharted terriTORI, things have been especially unpredictable: Finding out she was pregnant with her third baby after nearly vomiting live on the Home Shopping Network; trying to hide her fourth pregnancy so soon after giving birth (as her stylist said, “who would be that crazy?”); being rescued from a paparazzo by a mom lynch mob; stalking her celebrity neighbor; and allowing cameras to film every personal detail of her life—from the most challenging time in her marriage to the only time in six years when she really felt as though those cameras invaded her privacy.

Tori shares these stories and many more with the usual humor, candor, and down-to-earth charm that her fans love. She also writes openly about her biggest challenges: the terrifying health problems surrounding her high-risk pregnancy with youngest son Finn, her guilt over missing baby Hattie’s early months because she was in the hospital on bed rest, her struggles (and failures) to live within her means after growing up in opulence, discovering how much she has in common with her late mega-producer father, Aaron Spelling, and falling in love with Dean all over again (hint: it didn’t happen at their vow renewal ceremony).

After years of intimately revealing her everyday antics onscreen, Tori’s life is still full of surprises. Slowing down long enough to enjoy them? Now that’s another sTORI.

Spelling it Like it Is is a truly wonderful book. Tori Spelling has come a long way from her 90210 days. Now a reality TV star, wife, and mother – she has a great outlook on life. Tori writes with great comic wit. She has a wonderful way with words that kept me smiling throughout the entire book. Five stars.

I have always been a fan of Tori however not a fan of this book. Tori took too many jabs at TLC (who gave her a paycheck to support her many houses!) Also found it inappropriate with the way she allows her kids to talk about pu@#y and taking a sh@t. Im only half way through the book and will finish it....... but not impressed. Maybe she should stick with crafting

What a self-serving piece of work. Not cool taking potshots at other TLC shows.

It an interesting book, very candid at times. Nothing much new because TOri is so open about her life.

I always like Tori's insight in to the world of celebs... But the whining about money got to me. My kids have to share a room so the my baby and her baby nurse can share a room? I had to wake up the live in housekeeper to sleep with the kids when I go to the hospital... Wah wah. I miss my automatic black out curtains. Seriously?

Burnt Water
&star The Idea
Prolouge
It was a nice day. Yet, the birds were silent. Not a chirp to be heardfor miles in every direction. Why?
Not a bee buzzed, not a deer grazed, not a fish jumped. Not a cat meowed, not a dog barked.
It was completely and udderly ghostly.
And then...
A shining streak crossed the sky. It slowed, landing in the very center of our city.
Glorious scales, shimmering like the cosmos and changing, delecately transluscent by barely a touch, wings, undescribably beautiful, eyes, like the milky way, teeth, white like pearls, horns, glittering white. It was impossible yet irrasistable.
She was dragon.
"I am Zorgagroz, eternal mother of all dragons."
(I write half a chapter at a time, and prolouge means automatic continuation.)

I have always enjoyed Tori's books. She has an easy writing style, and seems very down to earth and real. There is a little talk about poop that i didnt like but overall enjoyed the book.
