    Politics and Treachery in Lenos

With this book, the second season of the anime is finally caught up in US print. ** Here's to hoping a third season makes it way in the future ** Lawrence and Holo travel to the port city of Lenos and do their merchant magic there as they always do, but its not so easy or clean cut this time. There's trouble stirring in Lenos as foreign merchants sit outside the town gates waiting to engage in their life's calling and seize their fortunes. Meanwhile Lawrence keeps an ear to the ground, trying to get a jump on the competition, all the while expanding his relationship with Holo. In addition to all of this, more is discovered about Yoitsu and as their journey nears it end, what will become of Lawrence and Holo? And what's this about a cheeky, clever barmaid who wants to match wits with Holo??? This was another enjoyable novel in the adventures of what I've heard fondly called "wolf girl and economics." As I mentioned above, if you've seen the anime that was released prior, you'll find that the end of the second season parallels the story told here quite well, as have the other episodes and books. Not too much to say here... if you enjoyed the series so far, you'll enjoy this one too :) .

A beautiful story most definitely worth checking out.

I've seen both seasons of the show, currently reading the light novels and finished the manga till the most recent volume. Can't wait for the release of volume 8 as well as for the novel.
