Brand New Day means brand new thrills!!

Without getting into what lead to the events of Brand New Day, this trade, on its own is really good Spidey stuff. Plain and simple. The writers and artists involed truely hit the nail on the head as to what Spidey should be about. I really enjoyed it. I also really appreciated the extra material that shed a ton of light that went into this new world of Spidey. I look forward to reading the next volume of Brand New Day.

    DAN SLOTT IS AWESOME!!!!!!!

COLLECTING ASM (if you don't know what that stands for, shame on you) 546-551, and free comic book day ASM. This book is great. The art really jumps off the pages. Plus, the real treat was veiwing the new villians.
First, there's a tale about Spidey, and a reckless driver named Overdrive. Overdrive happened to show up on a special day, forcing Peter to forget something, showing he is still irresponsible as before One More Day.
Next, Dan Slott and Steve McNiven pair up, and it doesn't benefit Spidey, that's for sure. A robber has been running around the city, messing up Spidey's rep. Plus, Mr. Negative plots to poison a bunch of kids. Can he stop him in time?
After that, Spidey is teamed up with a new heroine named Jackpot against a new goblin. Can Jackpot work with him, or will she go by the rules and turn him in?
Last, and certainly least, Dan Slott's enter into Spiderman, from the 90's. Mark Bagley's art is terrific, but I don't understand it at all. Let's see if you can.
Now, if you didn't read One More Day, there is a possibility you won't understand some of it, but other than that, it is an awesome volume. Dan Slott adds a boost to Spiderman's humor, which he needed after Civil War. I reccomend it.
