While the idea of giving everyone in New York spider-powers is quite silly, Dan Slott executes it so well that you'll remember why you love Spider-man comics. Additionally there are several issues of Rick Remender's fantastic Venom run and a few one-shots to round out the package. While it doesn't include all of the tie-ins to the Spider-Island story (there is a companion TPB for that), this collection tells a complete story and is a must-read for all fans of Spider-man.

I'm really enjoying Dan Slott's writing on Spider-Man. His run so far has been among the best. Spider Island is a fun take on the Spider-Man mythos with all of Manhattan gaining Spider-Man's powers.
