    A reviewer

I love Spidey And I love Venom, But this was sad. the first 200 pages tells the story of spider-man with the black suit he got from the secret wars. these stories are tedious and irrelevant to the actual 'birth' of venom. also, almost all of these are only tid-bits of comics, this means there will be only 5 pages of the actual comics reprinted. The climax and resolution of the trade-paper back are rushed and disappointing. if you are a fan of the movies (And or 'Ultimate' Comic) then most likely you will hate this. If you are a fan of the old Spider-man Comic, then you will not like this because it does not re-print the whole comic.

An absolute need for venom and spider fans

This collection marks all of the major milestones in the creation of Venom, one of Spiderman's greatest foes. They are woven together perfectly with a bio of Venom at the end. Five stars
