Ever since Brand New Day, the tsmayoral election has slowly been building. Presedent Parfrey has been killed and Bill Hollister has taken her place. As the last election polls are being filled, Spiderman is fighting Menace, the poor man's Green Goblin. Meanwhile, Harry Osborn proposes to Lily Hollister. Spidey gets arrested, Menace's identidy is revealed, the new mayor is elected, this story has everything. The storytelling is great? JRJR is good until the ending, where his art is rushed. Barrack Obama is not exactly in the main story, just the ministory, so don't be fooled.

Sadly, this trade has the looks of a collection about Obama and the Presidential Election. Actually, what's inside is the the culmination of months of storylines mainly the NYC Mayoral election. In this we get to see the reveal of Menace, the election results, the spider-tracer killer revealed, and more. It was packed with action and JRJR was his normal awesome artistic self. Really great stuff. The other parts of the trade were just backup items for the most part with the high selling Obama issue as well. It was goofy and pointless but it got new people reading comics so I guess that's good. Overall, terrific stuff!

THE ISSUE WITH OBAMA IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS ISSUE. WHY PUT THE COVER OV ISSUE 583 ON IT? I WAS VERY COFUSED TIL I READ THE LAST PAGE THAT SAID IT WAS ISSUES 584-588! WHY DID THEY PUT THAT COVER ON THE BOOK AND NOT INCLUDE THE ISSUE?
