I gave this as a gift to my boyfriend for Christmas. I made him do the review part since he is the one who read it, and he could not put it down. He has always loved Spider-Man, but this was PERFECT for him! It was a way to get to know the original Spider-Man more than the typical public does. It goes beyond what you normally see and helps you bond with Spider-Man and understand more about him. It was excellent and I think that anyone who loves Spider-Man needs to have this in their collection.

This collects the Spider-man comic strip run from the seventies, by the veteran creators Stan Lee and John Romita. It would be hard to find a more perfect, definitive collection of Spider-man than this one. Includes a full origin story by Romita, and also retells the origins and first appearance adventures of several of his arch enemies from the old Ditko comics of the early sixties.
