Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble
Spike Dykes is a Texas Tech football legend. In his 14 seasons (1986-99) at the Red Raiders' helm, he won more conference games than any other TT coach in history. He was the first coach in more than half a century to lead Texas Tech to the Cotton Bowl and, perhaps more important, the first to defeat Texas five times during his career. In this book, the beloved gridiron mentor shares his favorite stories from his storied career.
