Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature
Spinderella longs to win at soccer, but she cannot count the goals. Spinderella needs the help of her Hairy Godmother. The book includes "Play the Amazing Spider's Legs Game," an entertaining story about counting and dividing, "Fun Fact" pages, and an activity related to the story. It even has "The Rules." It is an extremely attractive book with colorful illustrations and lots of action through the spiders' activities. It is also a busy book with lots to look at and enjoy. Math is made fun to do. Young children will be able to identify everything on the pages plus even if they cannot read, the pictures will be meaningful to them. It is not all instruction but is also a fun story. The paperback edition will make it affordable for parents to buy or for schools to provide multiple copies. This is part of the "Banana" series. 2006, Crabtree Publishing Company, and 19.96. Ages 5 to 7.
