Overview

This book is about our new relationships. A new and surprising world is emerging that requires each of us to explore the sources of our love and cultivate them and the inner sources of all that prevents us from loving (our fears) and heal them. Our evolution has taken a new path, and our relationships are changing in unexpected and dramatic ways.

We are evolving beyond the limits of our five senses and encountering more expanded experiences of ourselves and our world than were previously possible. Where once our perception was confined to what we see, hear, taste, touch, and smell, we are now increasingly able to access data that these senses cannot detect. This expanded perception is forever altering our experiences of ourselves, our world, and our relationships.

Our evolution now presents us at each moment with a profound choice: we can pretend that our lives and the world are not changing and continue to relate to one another as before, or we can use our relationships to transform ourselves into authentically powerful, loving individuals.

In Spiritual Partnership, bestselling author Gary Zukav reveals a profound new relationship dynamic that enables us to reach our full potential and create authentic power—the fulfilling and joyful life that is calling to us all. Spiritual partnerships are not only for couples in marriage; they can be created anywhere two or more individuals decide to engage as equals for the purpose of spiritual development.

Filled with poignant examples and practical guidance, including specific guidelines, Spiritual Partnership empowers and enables us to explore our emotions, our intentions, our choices, and our intuition and to use them to create profound spiritual growth. The world is changing around us and within us, and Spiritual Partnership is the road map to that change.

A new favorite book that I will re-read in the future. So easy to read & understand, as you read it will give you a few "aha" moments along the way......

The book is wonderful! I am on page 126 just starting the chapter 17 on Benefits of Spiritual Partnership. I luv the book, the way it is written is beautiful. Each chapter resonates with me as to what is really true. I have Seat of the Soul and I have read the book a few times over. Another wonderful book. I plan to read The Dancing Wu Li Masters as I haven't read that first book yet.

I love the way Gary writes, where do his ideas come from? It must be from a direct connection since he can really put these truths into such understandable language.

My husband is not a reader but, I am making a copy of the chapter "Learning to Coach" since I think he can relate to this chapter since he coached basketball for kids years ago. I'm hoping I can get him to read it on his train ride to NYC every day for work. It's short & sweet so I think he can definitely read it not just for me but, for himself.

Thank you to Gary Zukav for sharing this great book with us all. It is quickly becoming one of my favorite books of all time (and I have read many, many books.......).

    I Also Recommend:

    Zukav's BEST ever

Gary Zukav's new book is finding a home with a lot of individuals (including people who have not read any of his other books) perhaps in a way his other books (as powerful as they all are) have not. I know that sounds like a left-handed compliment but that is not what I mean to convey.

As a Spiritual Mentor I am using Spiritual Partnership as a "must read" for all those I am working with. (Most of whom, by the way, are not even aware of the New Thought teachings.) My observation is his timing is perfect with his new book because I can see and feel the shift happening in every client I am mentoring--and I am not naive enough to believe it is all due to my personal brilliance. I have never seen such a "cross the board" resonance with a book. People are ready for a deepening of purpose and meaning beyond their day-to-day existence and, speaking as someone who has been in the "New Thought trenches" for 30 years, I know that his concept of spiritual partnership is the bridge to "what's next" for our planet. In my experience, he is spot on when he says the shift is already underway.

His clarity as a teacher and the humility with which he is extending his message have never been more obvious.

    Peace,

A truly profound and life changing book

Full Disclosure - I am heading a team that is producing the online engagement platform for this author and I personally designed the cover of the book. So you can assume my review is biased but in fact, it is heartfully accurate. My evaluation is with integrity and gratitude for the quality of these ideas and practices.

I read Gary Zukav's Dancing Wu Li Masters just when I got to college in 1979 and it changed my life to learn, for the first time, about quantum physics and its profound relationship to consciousness that Zukav revealed to the non-physicist masses in 1979. This knowledge set me on a course to explore the implications of human computer interface modeled after the way consciousness structures our reality, which we are now applying to elearning. After reading Spiritual Partnership, I have experienced another quantum shift, this time of the heart not the head.

Readers who have ingested a lot of self-help books might initially be hit with the feeling that the principles in Spiritual Partnership are too simple to work: making spiritual growth your highest priority, cultivating emotional awareness, saying or doing what is most difficult, taking responsibility for your feelings, experiences and actions without blaming; examining your deeper intentions, choosing responsibly, releasing distance you feel from anyone, etc.

While I had heard some of these ideas before, I have never felt them penetrate so deeply as after I read this book. Zukav has a brilliant way of using metaphor to make simple but profound principles stick in the head and heart. For example, he uses the example of his father's antique diamond scale as a symbol of the balance of superiority or inferiority you feel towards others. As long as the scale is tipped - either you feel inferior to a particular person, or you feel superior - in either case you are not practicing or experiencing authentic power, and your spiritual growth suffers.

After having read this book, I still have the same reactions - say of righteous indignation when I feel I am right in an argument - but now I am beginning to develop the ability to independently witness these reactions before I act unconsciously and make matters worse. I am catching myself in unconscious patterns more often, and I feel my spiritual growth is being dramatically accelerated by the principles in this book. If you have ever been repeatedly exasperated by interactions with certain people in your life, this book will help you transform those events into opportunities to learn more about yourself, grow spiritually, and be less dependent on external circumstances or people changing in order for you to be happy.

Oprah called Gary's book "The Seat of the Soul" the most profound book she ever read. But this book, "Spiritual Partnership" has already changed my life dramatically for the better, and I recommend it to anyone who is willing to make spiritual growth their highest priority. You will be rewarded by growing more fearless and more love-powered.

The concept of a spiritual partnership spoke to me immensely and the first time I had heard the phrase was in Gary Zukav's book Seat of the Soul so I bought this book to learn more.

I have been awakened to proceed on a Spiritual Journey now for the last five years. I have read a variety of books on Spirituality and will either find a signpost telling me, "Yes, your intuition was right; here is validation for you.", or I will find help in bringing me to the next level of evolving for my soul. When I was ready for an answer to a conflict I was experiencing, a serendipity moment brought to me by the Universe told me to pick up the book Seat of the Soul that had been sitting on my bookshelf unread for an answer. The term Spiritual Partnership that I found in that book is what I needed to "see" so I bought this new book by Mr. Zukav. I have re-membered the truth of mine of healing back to the point of origin and that curing yourself is of the soul, and even though I did find some useful information in this book, after reading through half of it I still couldn't figure out what he was telling you to do to heal the painful hurts that trigger emotional outbreaks of anger, jealousy, etc.; he only talks about how to become aware of the (example) "player" anger and then choosing another player (example) compassion to play out the part. That was a good analogy for me to "feeling the emotion but rising above it"; but then the book really stopped there for me as far as helping me heal the original pain that brings this on. It is also in the book that the traditional reasons for marriage are being replaced by these Spiritual Partnerships, which is what I was interested in, but it seems that he misses the mark and that the book is more on "how to save your marriage". I just can't see that if he and his "spiritual partner" found the answer to cohabitation bliss and evolving as souls together, they would have already gotten to the point of growing spiritually enough to have healed all wounds and not be in these power struggles anymore. I just couldn't see this as a way a Spiritual Partnership would suppose to be based on my definition of spirituality and is the reason I put the book down after reading half of it. I can see that this is a decent self-help psychology book, but as far as a spiritual book it is lacking.
