Spiritual Warfare: Christians, Demonization and Deliverance

Overview

The Bible is explicit: We live in a world of distinct opponents; our very lives are a battle. Yet too many Christians lose more battles than they win and endure their walk with God rather than enjoy it because they don't recognize the enemy when they see it. More importantly, they have no idea how to respond. While society tells us we can react simply, the truth is that a wish, a hope, and a prayer are not the best responses to attacks from those who stand between us and the Father. Christians must be strategic ...

Christians must be strategic in their reactions to these clearly defined enemies, learning how to fight biblically and effectively rather than just sincerely. In Spiritual Warfare, Dr. Karl Payne - pastor of Leadership Development and Discipleship at Antioch Bible Church and Chaplain for the NFL's Seattle Seahawks - has written a guidebook for defense that is simple, biblical, and transferable. Through his teaching on how to recognize and resolve attacks from the world, we learn that we are more than conquerors in Christ.

Highly Recommended for Christians and Non-Christians

This book is highly educational in the battles we face every day whether mentally or spiritually. It helps you understand the difference between the two and provides scripture to back it up while at the same time helping you understand how to deal with the issue(s) you are facing. Dr. Payne did a very good job in making this book easy to read and understand.

Most Christians pray defensively, "Lord protect me,hide me" (Psalm27), this books teaches you how to pray offensively, "Lord,
when my enemies shoot arrows, return their own arrows" (Psalm 3).  Dr. Payne will give you several strategies like this one that you can
instantly apply to overcome the enemy. Whether you are attacked more subtly, like not being able to read the Bible or by believing negative things
about yourself, or more severely by engaging in sin or being spiritually attacked, Dr. Payne will give you proven tools to defeat the enemy.  I
recommend this book to everyone, non-Christians, Christian laymen, and ministers. Since everyone has been attacked, everyone can be helped to
recognize the enemy's plots so that hopefully you'll be prepared and you'll win future encounters. My outlook and prayer life have changed since reading
this book. Thanks Dr. Karl Payne!
