    Awesome!

    LOVE IT!

    Very cool app! I can remotely use my home computer from anywhere! Just got it and watched a HULU program on my NC. Not especially great, but worked well enlugh for me!

    Lovely.

    Yes, you still gotta have your computer on, but is grand for those with a desktop, and not a laptop, because you can move around and sit wherever you like and not at the computer.

    Excellent app!

    Using a dedicated Gmail account, I am now able to access my home PC from anyplace that has WiFi. Great work, Splashtop Inc.!!

    Nifty..

    Its cool and easy to use but you have to leave the computer running and you cant move files from computer to nook with it. I dont find it very useful but you might.

    Not what I expected

    I was initially blown away with this app, but now I can't see the need for it. My laptop doesn't stay on at all times. It goes to sleep after being idle, so there's no way for me to access it away from home. That's the reason I bought it for. I'm a little disappointed.

    Amazing

    If you want to feel like you are actually on you computer, than this is the app. for you. This works just like your pc. Once I completed the application process, I was sitting near my pc but I was using my Nook and every move I did on my Nook was actually being done on my pc. When I did something on my Nook I could actually watch the little arrow on my pc move at the same time. One more reason to love the Nook!

    Great App

    Besides using your computer's processor and accessing files I've found it useful for keeping tabs on grandchildren's computer activity. By connecting to the computer they're using I can see real time activity. What I've discovered (with great delight) is that they're using the internet wisely!

    WOW YOU MUST BUT THIS!!!!!!!!!

    Buy it now, while it is on sale. Set up took all of 5 minutes. I am completely amazed at what it has turned my nookcolor into. I now have a laptop! I am no techno wizard and I did this effortlessly.

    Nice support people but app won't work outside of WAN

    The support people for this app are definitely some of the best I have ever encountered. Unfotunately, this app will not work outside of the same WAN the pc to be accessed is connected. In other words, the tablet and the pc musr both be on the same WAN. I wanted to use it in the same manner as go to my pc (which I can use from anywhere in thecworld on my laptop) but, unfortunately, this app is not able to do so. "Hats off" to the support team for going above and beyond in their work. The next step for the app developers to create an update that will allow the app to work on the internet on a connection outside the WAN

    Great prog... but.

    Keep in mind that if you use this to watch graphics intensive games, the nook may lock. The nook doesn't have as strong a graphics processor to stream highly graphical games smoothly

    Take advantage while it's on sale!

    Splashtop Remote Desktop does exactly what I want it to do. I can play music with iTunes, browse the web with Chrome, and access files on my hard drives from my Nook Tablet. This app does a great job of maintaining a desktop experience. I highly recommend it.

    Beware mac users

    Only works on OSX 10.6 and 10.7. Leopard not supported.

    Also does not use VNC, uses proprietary protocol.

    I can even use Photoshop from this app?!?

    This is absolutely fantastic! I thought I would experiment with some of my programs, Photoshop being one of them. I use the Nik Software plug-ins and was shocked and amazed that I could edit my photographs from my Nook using Splashtop! Out of this world. I'm sold!!!
