I've recently joined Weight Watchers and am constantly looking for new foods I can prepare myself. Regular sugar has a lot of points, but Splenda is almost zero! This book is wonderful! I've tried several recipes and I love that all the the nutritional information is on the bottom of the page! I was able to calculate all of the point values for these recipes before I went to the store to buy my ingredients without having to look at packages. Who would have thought that you could eat coffee cinnamon cheesecakes and still lose weight or that a Blackberry Lemonade would be ZERO points!
I bought this for my mom and she loves the recipes. These recipes are easy, and you don't have to go to specialty stores to find the ingredients.
We have tried many recipies in the cook book and it is hard to tell that it didn't have sugar. Some people say they can taste a difference when they use Splenda. But for myself and many others who have to cut sugar, this is great!!!
It's great to have recipes that can be done with out sugar and have than taste as good or better. This is a great book for controlling the amount of sugar for diabetics and also for anyone that wants to keep a low sugar intake.
This is a great book for the diabteic and those that can get creative with their food. You can use the recipes in the book as is, but they are so easy to substitute for other items to create your own recipes. EXCELLENT buy! This is the 2nd book I have bought from Splenda and look forward to the next book.
