I read Split Infinity, by Piers Anthony, because of its mixture

I read Split Infinity, by Piers Anthony, because of its mixture of science and fantasy. The author really pulls together the idea of magic and technology getting along and clashing at the right moments in time. The multiple settings, along with alternative worlds, keeps the story moving as he progresses in his game, thinks to his previous employment experience, and tries finding his identity all at once. Another feature of the book I like is that the creatures have their own identity instead of just being an animal.
This book did a great job in pulling me into the trilogy and I definitely will be reading the other two books. I recommend this book to any science fiction and/or fantasy lover.

A book where science and magic dictate the life of an extremely competitive athlete. The author creates a world filled with mythical creatures such as werewolves and unoicorns, as well as robots and cyborgs. This book is totaly original and I recomend it to all fantasy readers.
