Overview

This book is a body of poetry that The Poetic Gentleman has spoken throughout the country. It is some of his most popular works.

The Poetic Gentleman has had his work featured on CNN's Black in America; BET's Lyric Café; and on commercials for TVLand/Nick @ Nite, Nike and McDonalds. In 2009 he was awarded the Promax Gold for best copyright in North America and he has been blessed to tour the country extensively with his work. He has performed in venues, festivals, colleges and universities. He is the Founder and host of the open-mic show 'Poetic Fusion' currently taking place in Atlanta, GA. and Columbus MS. . His work strikes the fine balance between comedy and poetry creating levity that some like to call 'cometry' which is the ability to make audiences laugh hysterically in one moment and then reflect upon the commonality and interconnectivity of us all in the next. His writing is said to live somewhere between Gil Scott Heron and Bill Cosby, which is rarefied air and wonderful company to be in.
