Overview

On a Venusian outpost, cut off from their Earthen ancestors, a society sacrifices its humanity in exchange for security. Edwin Lackey watches the surveillance monitors keeping his world safe. His staff of overseers control the population with unyielding law. If a citizen breaks the strict code of conduct, the enforcers haul them in for reconditioning.
