    Favre retired?

To start off, I bought this book thinking in my mind that this was definitely Favre's swan song; that he was really retired. Well, we all know that wasn't the case. He went on to play with the Jets and then the Vikings. The book was not as good as I thought it was going to be. It was mainly written by Peter King of SI, whom I don't really like in the first place, but he did impress me with some of the insight into Favre's glory years from when he started back in 1992 until his last years in Green Bay. There was some personal insight about Favre into how he thinks and how he acted. It shows his maturity level and how it was grown over the years. I liked it but I wouldn't buy it if you were looking for an official Favre retirement book.

A MUST have for anyone, even non-football lovers

This book is a MUST HAVE!!! In this book you read about a legend a true warrior on the field & IN LIFE. This book is not just for Favre, Packers, or NFL fans! Of course anyone who watches sports knows of him. But this a unique look into his life, mind & family and what really matter in life. Those out there who want a a book of someone who came from nowhere & ended up a LEGEND, A WARRIOR & AN MAN WHO'S RETIREMENT has left us fans devistaded & at lease me... still in denial & SADNIG. THIS BOOK TELL'S THAT STORY. Since I was 12 Brett Favre had been the QB for the Green Bay Packers, and the rest of NFL teams went through over 50 QB's in that time. So I've have known no other.

    Rich Giberti reviews Brett Favre

    A man's man. A quarterback's quarterback. Faithful, dependable, hard-working, non-complaining - what a rarity and breath of fresh air in today's money-driven sports industry. Brett is a sure hall-of-famer!

the greatest man in football history

Brett Favre was in my eyes the greatest man in football history. He played the game with heart and didnt make it about the money. People can dog on me for the rest of my life for being a Packers fan but I am true to my team and nothing will change that. At least I can say I am a fan of a team that has true heart and true love for the game!!

    What can you say?!

Favre has inspired countless boys to strive harder, go farther, and accomplish more than what they could have dreamed. I, as an adult, have learned and been inspired by reading this book too!

    A girls's point of view

Brett Farve went on that field with more heart than anyone who played the game. Being from the south and liking a northern team i get a lot of heck. But the Packers were worth it. Brett stepped down because of how mentally tired he was. And with all he has been through he deserves the right to step off with pride!

a fans review of a legend

Football will never be the same without this man. when he left football, the shock was felt around the world, and while most of Packers Nation would like you to keep playing, i believe i speak for us all when i say: we want you to be happy.so Good luck MR.Favre

    What Can I Say

I loved Brett Favre my whole life. Just seeing his spiral go up in the air and be caught by the wide reciever. I even have his jersey hanging on the wall in my room. I cried so hard the day I found out he retired. I thought this is it I'm done with football. It's better this way that he retired because his health is good, he has all the records, and he's won a superbowl. So I guess it's time for him to hang up the cleats as much as it kills me to see him go, it's for the best. WE WILL ALL MISS BRETT FAVRE! THANKS FOR THE GREAT MEMORIES!!!!

    One for Generations

As a young boy in Wisconsin in the 60's, I became a passionate Packer fan who's role model was Bart Starr. Thankyou, Brett Favre, for allowing my son to be consumed by that same passion and admiration for a truly great role model. We will miss you, but cherish the memories . . . this book will help immensely.
