    Give it a B (Stacey) - Give it an A(Reavis) - Give it a D (Cooks)

Unfortunately anthologies always lack consistency in the quality of stories. This one is no exception. But the story by Cheryl Reavis was really a very good story. Strong character an good writing. The Judith Stacey story average but nice. The Pam Cooks story about a female architect building a grand hotel in Nebraska did not ring true. It was a 1992 story with a 1892 date slapped on it. Unlikable characters with an unlikely story. Not wort buying for one good story.
