David Simon grew up in a Jewish home and came to Christ at the age of 16. David married Denise Simon, and has two daughters (with whom he wrote the book), Chelsea and Sarah. David is currently serving as Minister of Adults and Senior Adults at Peninsula Baptist Church in Mooresville, North Carolina.
