Overview

Angel Rogers is alone in the world. With both her mother and father gone, the fiery young woman is left to run Rogers Ranch on her own. Not an easy taks for anyone in 1894, especially in the midst of a drought that has nearby ranchers desperate for the water on her land.

So it is that rancher Jeremy Johnson comes to call upon Angel, hoping to strike a bargain that will allow his cattle to graze on the fertile Rogers land and drink from its sparkling waters. Instead, he finds himself increasingly drawn to Angel, and finds he wants he love more than anything else.

But to what lengths are other ranchers willing to go in order to gain access to Rogers Creek? And what is Angel willing to sacrifice to keep her ranch from falling into the wrong hands?

Ginny Aiken's growing readership will enjoy Spring of My Love as much as they loved the first two installments of the Silver HIlls Trilogy.

It was a great story about a woman who is trying to hold onto her father's sheep ranch during drought. Her ranch has the best water source and the grazing land is good unlike the other ranches in the area. Her neighbor Jeremy keeps trying to buy her land so that he has a decent water supply and grazing land for his cattle. Others are also loking for any means necessary to get her land even if it means kiling for it. Throughout the story jeremy and angel learn to care for each other as jeremy helps her with her ranch after an attack on angel's life. Things go bad to worse as the locals turn against her and people try to frame her for crimes she didn't commit. Overall it was a great book. Very emotional and funny at times. The main lesson in this book is to trust God in all thngs and seek his will rather than your own.
