I got this app along with the fliq notes app awhile ago when i wanted a way to write short notes. I didn't really start using it until recently though and i love it! It does so much more than save notes and it does it all in an organized and efficient manner. I especially love the task lists and recipes!!! I would recomend this app over fliq notes for anyone wanting to take quick notes like i did!!

I had already downloaded a different note taking app which I was using to make shopping lists, to do lists, etc.. Springpad is TONS better than the other app which I don't use at all anymore. I especially like that when you make a list with Springpad, it sets up boxes you can check off as you complete items or tasks.

For years I used to write daily notes and passages in a Sharp Organizer, and then every week or so I would transfer them to my laptop via cable connection, paste them into my WordPerfect journal document, and finish writing my journal entries. The Sharp Organizer went away some years ago, and I have not had anything to easily write with a keypay and yet be small enough to carry around. Enter the Nook Color machine. I bought the Nook Color to read books, but I also hoped I would be able to find an app where I could write about things as they happened and then transfer my writings to my laptop WordPerfect file. This Springpad does exactly that. Somehow or other I was able to get Springpad to work on my laptop and sync with my Nook Color. They both use the same WiFi system at my home. I write paragraphs in my Nook during the day, and when I come home, I start Springpad up on my laptop and find my notes are all on the laptop Springpad app. I copy my notes, paste them in WordPerfect, and then finish my journal writings for however many days I have been keeping Springpad notes. I then copy my finished journal entries in WordPerfect, go back to Springpad on my laptop, paste my finished journal writings in Springpad and erase my old notes in Springpad. I save the journal writings in Springpad, and when I go to my Nook Springpad app, I find it now contains all my finished journal writings. For my writing purposes, it really works like a charm. Best wishes, Dave Wile.

At the most basic level, springpad is a powerful bookmarking tool. At the advanced level, its a virtual corkboard, bookshelf, and much more. The springpad add-on to my browser makes it easy to store recipes that I can access quickly on my phone. I also use the books type to store texts for my research and keep an additional link in its notes to our library's online ebooks so I can quickly access anything from my nook. I even have a couple product alerts going. Their blog has a lot of examples of how springpad is used.

I read the reviews and decided to try it, since it was free. Springpad works just fine. I would suggest that you LEARN how to use it before you rate it. If you see a gray box instead of the app, turn your NC fully off by pressing the button on the top left of the device, then on again. Giving it a bad rating (because you don't know how to use it) or asking "if you should buy it" is not what this area is for. That is frustrating for those of us who really want to know if it is worth it. And people please learn how to spell.

I use the Nook and phone aps combined with the web version. I love that all 3 sync with each other...it is so useful for organization, data storage and you can even sync it to Google, iCal, etc. Can't say enough good things about this app!

I suggest Fliqnotes better because it is also free and doesn't require you to login or sign up. Honestly, if they removed that function, I'd give it a good three stars. I like easy access and the logging in function is quite annoying. Over all, Fliqnotes is quite easier.

Works across all of my devices perfectly. Optional and free Chrome/Firefox plugin combined with Nook app make my D&D games painless, since I am very forgetful with notes.

I wanted something to take basic notes and lists on. This works well in that regard. I did not want to tie in web, news, or any other overhead that some other apps do.
The only downside is that you cannot delete the 'default friends' folders that it comes with, or change any settings locally.
This will interface with the website, so you will be creating an account there if you want to change anything. It will sync your notes to the site, and you will have to log in to the web to do basic things like change a background, which will sync with your Tablet the next time you get on WiFi.
This is not bad. I wish it would do both more, and less.

This app is a good app if you have a lot on your mind, and need to organize it all. Its fine for being free, but its not the best.

Still learning my way around on all the uses of Springpad but I love it! Especially the notebooks portion where you can save recipes and correlate with your shopping list. Very handy! I downloaded this app for free but would have paid for it if necessary. For a techie person this would probably be easily manueverable but I'm a little computer illiterate and so I use the guides to help me. Highly recommend this!

I started using SpringPad because it would sync with the app on my phone. (Previously I had used Catch Notes on my phone for notes and Cloudlist for lists but neither are available in this market.) This does so much more than any other app I've found. This is the only app I use now for notes and lists. I can't recommend this app enough.

This app is terrible if you do not have a bunch of free time like me, you need an account to even get in to it! Even if you do get an account it never works. Some people say it works great, but I think this app does not work at all for me. It says to get your account go to settings at a website. But I can not even find settings at the website I have tried multible times, and the turnout is, this is a terrible app. I also have Fliq Notes, it works perfect! I can write books do diary entries, and nobody can even get into it, if you go to settings you can put a password protection on it. So do not get this app, you are better off with Fliq Notes, a better version of this stinky app.

I don't like the fact that people I dont know read my notes at their discretion. I also never used it because I just take notes on my Fliq Notes, which I use a lot.

Found this app easier to use and organize notes. No longer use fliqnotes which I found difficult to use & not intuitive at all. Love how easy this is to access on laptop or phone . Surprised at negative reviews here, since i'm not a techie by any means but still can use this with ease. And it's free!
