    My Childhood favorite (nostalgic)

I am so happy to see this book on Barns&Noble. I read this book when I was a child. I got this book from a book order at the school. I remember how it made me feel. This book got me interested in ready. I loved dogs (still do) and this story line was very interesting to me. I read it over and over. I would like to see B&N get this in the NookColor format because I would like to read it again. I have my original copy, but it is quite tattered, and I'm afraid it will fall apart. I hope some day that I would be able to read Spunky to my grand children. (Uhhg, am I really old enough now?)

    nice book about a dog

Told in the first person as if Spunky, the dog, were narrating, it is a very interesting account of what life is like from a dog's perspective. The majority of children, especially those who like animals, and most especially those who like dogs, should enjoy it.

Wonderful, exciting, colorful read for youngsters

This story was a huge hit with my daughter(7 and an early reader). It is told from the dog's perspective and is very descriptive and thought provoking.
