I think this is a real event since I remember the name Kim Philby, but I couldn't keep my interest in it long enough to find out if it's history or fiction. The writing style was hard to read, so I didn't. It's a shame since I love stories set in D.C. Maybe you're more patient than I and can get through it,.

This may be a short story (less than 40 pages), but calling it that is more than it deserves. Perhaps it was a quickly written synopsis of what the author intended to later write as a book. In any case, the sentence structure was often cumbersome, and the plot was difficult to follow.

The narration is fast, slim, and hits directly on points, yet through a beautifully crafted plot. This short, yet CONDENSED work, leaves me hungry for more. Recommended if you like spy novels, a good plot thriller or even curious unto new writing styles.
