    You'll be in Good Company

Do you like to garden? Of course you do, or you wouldn't be reading this review. Well, I like to garden too, but you know how I use to do it before I learned about Square Foot Gardening? I use to take a handful of seeds and scatter them down a furrow, and I hoped because the seed was two years old, that they wouldn't all germinate. But they usually all came up and I had the arduous chore of thining all those plants. I don't know about you, but I hate to pull a good plant and leave it lying on the ground in a shriveled heap. First I think of how much seed costs now days, second I feel guilty because it's such a waste. Square Foot Gardening does all of the following, it saves space, saves money, saves water (if you live in an arid place like I do) it gives you peace of mind because you're not wasting seed, or you're not producing more than you can eat. How is this accomplished? Buy the book and find out...you'll be in good company; over four million copies of Square Foot Gardening have been sold.

    An efficient gardening method

Square Foot gardening provides a different, more efficient approach to vegetable gardening. It involves dividing the garden area into square foot sections, utilizing each space more efficiently and producing only those items you can normally consume. Crop rotation is emphasized, having plants ready to plant as soon as space becomes available, to maximize the growing season. Vertical gardening, raised garden beds, garden care and maintenance is also covered. Too much to discuss here. The main downside to this book is that the initial costs of setting up the garden, implementing the tools, methods and suggestions outlined in this book could be prohibitive for some.
