Meet the Author

Award-winning writer Bill Little has been a part of The University of Texas athletics for more than 40 years, a tenure that spans much of the glory of Longhorn football. He joined the Texas Media Relations staff in 1968, after having covered UT football as a student for The
Daily Texan, and as a sports writer for the Austin American Statesman. Little's columns and Web commentaries have won numerous national writing awards, and he is widely recognized as the leading historian of Texas athletics. This is his third book related to University of Texas sports.
