Overview

One mistake can change your life forever.
Casey had spent most of her life watching the Predators control Queen City, never believing they could be brought to justice. She was the one who always passed unnoticed as Max's stepsister. They underestimated what she was capable of until it was almost too late. When the Predators discovered they were her prey, there was hell to pay, and Casey was going to have to pay her dues with her soul.

One mistake can fuck up your life forever.
Max trusted his stepsister, not believing for a second she would betray the Predators. She used her body to get what she wanted, and now Max would use the same wiles on her to trap Casey in her own web of deceit. The Predators demanded revenge, and Max was going to see they got what they wanted, even if the price was his soul.

This was one standoff neither was going to win.

Max and Casey another great love story from Jamie. 5 star for not cheating after they get together. Loved Casey was a strong, smart, loving, sweet woman. Max was a hound dog but once in love become a loyal man. I need more of Jackal/Penni! 5 star for this HEA

You did it again! Loved this book, keep up the good work, and I cannot wait for the next one. Please don't make us wait long. Bring on Lucky I believe you said is coming next, okay so I take whatever I'm not picky.

Hate when books are the bare outline of a story. So many thing could have been elabrished on to really complete the story. The time jump in the end hurt the story.

It was a great read this was my first book by this author and I love Mc books. She did good I loved it Casey was the strong heroine, and was the sexy bad boy. Only thing that gets me is the epilogue don't understand why Casey is a little upset over the picture penni shows her and what Sawyer didn't want her to see it!!!!

4.5 Stars So far I am liking this series a lot better than Ms. Begley's Last Riders series. That MC Series deals more with a sexual club than anything else, but this MC Series actually reads like an MC, while they party and screw like any MC they also have lives outside of straight screwing which the Last Riders Series don't really seem to have. Max, very much like Ice, was hard core but sweet deep down and while it was disconcerting knowing he had four children from four different women, at least he wasn't a deadbeat dad. He took very good care of his kids, loved them and spent time with all of them. He was also faithful and loyal to Casey, despite being angry at her and her supposed betrayal. See...good guy. Casey was a great female lead, she wasn't annoying nor frustrating. She did what she did to protect someone she loved fiercely, can't fault her for that and even when she got caught she was scared but was willing to take whatever punishment dealt to her standing tall and not cowering. I totally respected her for that. Ice's retribution was so unnecessary and completely unfair, I'm sure if it was Grace caught doing something like Casey, he wouldn't have issued that same retribution, so for him to put that on Max knowing how Max felt about Casey was wrong. Overall, I'm glad Casey wasn't a pushover nor a doormat, she stood up for herself and took care of herself and her brother. She didn't let Max, Ice, Renee nor the other Predator's dictate to her! Awesome book...can't wait for Penni and Jackal's story..that looks to be super funny! SR

Another great story. Love how each book has parts that tie it back to another. As with past books by Jamie, I will read this one many times. Looking forward to Luckys story.

The book started off good but i lost interest about 1/4 into the book. Ice's story was better.
