On page 19 there is a caption for a U.S. M1842 Harpers Ferry Musket.
The photograph with the caption however, is of a Third Model Burnside Carbine. This is a reference work. There should not be any mistakes. The rest of the book is very good overall with excellent photos. I was especially impressed with the coverage of the U.S. M1841 "Mississippi" rifle and its many variations. And also of the many contractors for the U.S. M1861 Springfield Musket. There was also good coverage of the many inferior foreign muskets imported by General Ripley early in the war.That section needs more photographs.
With better proofreading and more photos this could be a 5 star book.
