The 2014 version of this catalog is the standard reference for World coins from 1901 to 2000. It is widely used by both collectors and dealers of world coins. In addition to many illustrations, the size, weight, and silver or gold content is listed. The one minor flaw is that some popular varieties are listed, but not illustrated, making it harder to identify them. I recommend this book for general collectors of world coins.
