I enjoyed reading this book. It set up the events that I saw in the new movie very well. This should have been the Next Gerneration last movie. You to see Spock as part of the Romulan people that he was able to complet the re-unification. I like how they explanied who Nero was and his relation ship to Spock. It had a feel of Khan and Kirk's relationship from space seed and The Wrath of Khan. You see what Nero was like before he sets out for revenage on Spock the Valcan world and the Federation. How Nero learned about the famous Captain Kirk of the Enterprise. You understand when he has gone back in time and incounters the young cadet Kirk just taking command of the Enterprise. Over all I really enjoyed the book. The characters were well developed the story line was easy to follow and interesting to see your favorite characters in different roles. Date is Captain of the Enterprise and Picard is an Ambassador to Valcan. Weather you are a Star Trek fan or not I recamend you get this book and read it. It is like a tresure of information that you will enjoy. I look forward to the next comic book Spocks Reflection.

I was very pleased to find this volume. It has all the new Star Trek Movie prequel issues in one volume. I don't want to give plot away but I can see fans of both Classic and Next Generation Trek enjoying this. I highly recommend this to those fans as well as to people who became fans after seeing the movie.

This graphic novel describes the origins of the character Nero, and how Spock Prime became involved in the events leading up to the new Star Trek movie. It's an interesting read, and adds a lot more body to the story.

This book gives great descriptions of the aliens seen in Star Trek and their homeworlds.

It was least to my knowledge that IDW Publishing's came out with a Star Trek Comic. I saw the movie and I didn't know this existed. After I read it I said to myself...this explains everything. So read this before see this movie.

Very well done "setup" for the movie. Impressive in the way it ties all of the Star Trek incarnations together.

...of my time and money. Badly drawn, badly written. Would be of interest to only the most hardcore fans as it really adds nothing to the canon.
