The Venetan government turns to the Typhon Pact’s Tzenkethi Coalition for protection in the new order, and has agreed to allow three of their supply bases for Tzenkethi use. But these bases—if militarized—would put Tzenkethi weapons unacceptably close to Federation, Cardassian, and Ferengi space. While Captain Ezri Dax and the crew of the U.S.S. Aventine are sent to investigate exactly what is happening at one of the Venette bases, Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the U.S.S. Enterprise are assigned to a diplomatic mission sent to the Venette homeworld in order to broker a mutually acceptable resolution. Can't say yet... So ignore my ***'s rating since won't be reading for several weeks or months yet

Only received it a few days ago -- nearly 2 weeks after originally ordered, because of a series of screwups by B&N which were WAY out of the ordinary. Not only did UPS never receive the package from the B&N warehouse until I contacted B&N asking what's taking so long, they then continued to use this use this stupid UPS+USPS shipping method where the package arrives by UPS, IN MY TOWN, only to be handed over the the US Postal Service who promptly send it 60 miles away to a sorting facility [soon, with USPS cutbacks, to change to another city more than 80 miles away], and then sent BACK to my town a day or more later to be delivered. Cannot say I've EVER had this much of a goat roping to get a book.
