I bought this book for my boyfriend for Valentine's Day. He's a major Star Wars fan and is getting into drawing his own concept art. This book serves as great inspiration for his drawing and makes for a cool coffee table book when we have people over. I definitely recommend this book!
This is a beautiful book. I had expected concept art from the movies, but there is also art from The Clone Wars TV show and video games. It's fascinating to see the ideas that many different artists came up with for characters, vehicles, and landscapes. I enjoyed reading the brief bibliographies of the artists at the end of the book, too, and then going back to look at their work. This book is another example of how many people have been inspired by that far-away galaxy. Any Star Wars fan would enjoy browsing through the works of art in this book.
