    Quick and fun

PROS : Darth Maul is one of the coolest Star Wars characters ever. The story is short, so the author gets right to the point. The scenes with Darth Sidious were excellent. This is a great introduction to the relationship between Sidious and the Trade Federation. CONS : There was very little lightsaber action. Some of the character development in the first chapter that didn't feel right to me. I would have liked to have seen Maul fully unleash his fury. He felt slightly tamed in this story. CONCLUSION : Excellent book for the price. Really, if you are fan of Star Wars novels, then you've probably already read this one, but if not, do yourself a favor and pick it up. Shouldn't take more than a few hours to finish it and get a good Darth Maul "fix".

    I liked it!

The action scenes were good. Details were good. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that Darth Maul was only narrarated in about half of the book total... but I still liked the book. By the way, it was too short!

    Attention Maul fans!

Awesome story of Darth Maul, the only good character from the Phantom Menace (ugh). Left me wanting more. Sci-fi and Star Wars fans must read! -Michael

    Darth Maul

I understood the story. It wasn't confusing. For a novella, no sex and little suspense. I will read more of him, the character.

    Left me wanting more

For a few dollars the ebook only novella was a fabulous investment. Considering, of course, that you are a fan of Sci-Fi and star was in particular, you will likely find this quick 100 page read just enough to whet your whistle. It does expose some interesting character dynamics that sparked my interest and opened a window on the events leading up to the film "Episode 1."

    Standard Star Wars Lore

Fills in a segment of the Star Wars time line. Easy quick read.

    I Also Recommend:

    This was okay

Not great, and not horrible. I didn't care for the story. It didn't have the Darth Maul story edge that I expected. I'm glad that I read it for the sake of being a Star Wars freak, but otherwise worth skipping.

    A great short story

Given the problems thus far with ebooks such as price vs. quality this one is above the rest. $1.99 and you get a great short story for an afternoon's reading. Not too complicated a story, this is a great choice if you have a few hours to kill and want some good Star Wars sci fi
