    Extremely Awsome!

This book tells how strong Obi-Wan's and Qui-Gon's relationship is. I recommend this book and series to anyone who wants to learn about Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon's history.

    A very enjoyable story

This is the best book so far and I bet that there will be more to come. It showes that the fear of the loss of a loved one can cloud the judgement of even a Jedi. A very good book that give you a big mix of emotions.

    This book is awesome!!!

I think this is my favorite Jedi Apprentice book yet.I am dying to read #15, but I can't find it!! In this book, Qui-Gon follows Tahl (one of my favorite characters) because of a vision. Something is going on at the planet where the governer has been killed and his daughters ask Tahl to help them. Qui-Gon must find out what's going on and who's behind it. Before it's too late.

    Wrong Title

I'm so angry! Honestly! The title should have been, 'Qui-Gon's worst Events, His Love's Death.' He didn't even care when Obi-Wan got hurt! All he wanted to do was get to Tahl! [Actually, this review is about book 15. Sorry!]Someone E-mail me and tell me if you agree with me.

    Qui Gon Just Doesn't Care

I dont like qui gon much at all. In Episode One, all he cared about was Anakin or shall i say 'Darth Vader'.His last words were, 'Obi Wan promise me you'll train the boy'.If i was Obi Wan, I'd have slapped him in the face and tell him how ignorant he was.If it werent for qui gon, the empire might not of grown to its origonal power. And in the newest book the whole thing is about Qui Gons Personal Love Life. The series is called Jedi APPRENTICE for Goodness sake.It was as if Obi Wan died, not that Qui Gon would care.He dedicated his time and life to Tahl!!!Not that i don't like her.(by the way, Bant should be Tahl's padawan, if Tahl will live)I feel sry for her. Being kidnapped on Melida/Daan, blinded then kidnapped again is hard enough. Jude is too harsh on her, hasn't she gone through enough?!?!If i were in her shoes, id probabaly have her die too teach Qui gon a lesson. He doesn't think of Obi Wan, who tried his hardest to impress Qui Gon in the beginning.I think that Qui Gon is missing something upstairs.Xanatos and Obi Wan were smart to get away from him.Not that i agree with Xanatos's actions, its just that Qui Gon is the worst kind of master, just as Xanatos said. Thats all. By the way, im 21 yrs old and probabaly the oldest Jude Watson fan

    Gotta tell ya this!!

I have not read this book yet, but I can tell by the reviews that many people are scared about what's going to happen to Tahl. Well I got some news! In the new book J.P. Special Edition 1#, it takes place when Ani is Obi's padawan. It also says that Bant is Tahl's padawan, do you see it? Tahl can't die and she WON'T(unless, of course, they mix them up, which wouldn't be good). Well, I bet this will be a great book. Keep up the good work, Jude!!

    Too short, but very good!!

I got this book and could barely out it down, but it was to short. The Future does not look so bright as in the ending of the book when Qui-gon's vision says: 'It's to late for me Dear Friend' It's a forshadow of well, I hate to say this because Tahl is one of my favorite charters too, but of her dieing. Also if you read jedi apprentice speical addtion, how Obi-wan wishes Tahl was still with them, it kind of means somthing happened to her. Also poor bant, Tahl took her as her apprentice and she barely spending anytime with her own padawan. And most likey Tahl gonna die, and then who's Bant going to find??!! Also, in # 15 sounds good and also forshawdowing Tahl's death. Qui-gon Jinn telling that he loves Tahl and then,at the end of the editers note, he says his 'Greats loss' Which most likey means Tahl, passes away. This is a sad, cliff hanging, romantic, locical, pleasing, well writen, compassinit, coolest book. Now I'm dieing to read #15 The Death Of Hope. Also Jude waston is a lady I found out in a rewiew. Also here is her'Jude Waston note to the readers': Qui-Gon Jinn just broke a cardinal Jedi rule,by declaring his love for, Tahl, a fellow Jedi Knight. Now Tahl has been taken captive and Qui-gon and his apprentice Obi-wan must save her. Unfortunately for Tahl nothing goes according to plan.< And Qui-gon must face a devastating Loss!!!!!!!!! When I read that a chill went up my spine. Also after Qui-gon was saved i wish they would have told more about the missions.Qui-gon was followed mostly by his visions and was not acting like him self. That bountry hunter and evil senitist, really knocked him out, Joke. He was really confused, and something deep inside was hurting. And in the next book most likely everthing will be poured out. And Unsaul sadness will come over him. Hurry up Jude with # 15 we are all wanting to to know what happens to Tahl.

    It could've been worse.

It was a great book, the only problem I didn't like was that Qui-Gon didn't tell Obi-Wan his feelings. I mean, haven't they've done that before? Oh, well, I'm just waiting for the next book to come out. Anybody know WHEN? By the way, what type of animal came to your mind when they fought those Malia? I thought of wolves. Well, if ANYBODY knows when the next book'll come out, PLEASE tell me.

    good and well written, but.....

I just finished reading this book. As always it was well written and captured my attention, but I agree with the others. Where was Obi-Wan in the last few books? And I also think Obi-Wan should be in danger because of Qui-Gon's actions and then Qui would have to rescue him. Keep up the good work, Jude, and speed it up. The long waits are killing us!!

    Great Book!

As usual Jude produces another great book for us to enjoy. The best part of the book I thought was the role reversal of obi and qui. Early in the series obi had been the reckless risk taking one and qui the cautious and experienced one. Now obi is covering the mistakes of qui in this books and I find that very amusing. Hopefully Jude will make some kind of reference to this in the new book.

Star Wars: Jedi Apprentice #14: The Ties That Bind

I really loved the book Man! I could put it down. On the First I read it I was in the middle of the book when Mom told me to go to Bed (It was 1:00 in the morning). The next morning, I got to when Qui-gon declared his Love for Tahl. That was so sweet! I was crying too.

    Great Job Jude!

I really loved this book!!! Personally I think it's the best book in the series. I love everything in this book, especially the parts with Qui-Gon and Tahl. I hope this series goes on longer than expected (Until Episode II). The way things are going it looks bad for Tahl, but maybe Jude will surprise us.

    I LOVED IT!!

One of the best in the J.A. series! Though, I have a feeling the books will have a darker feel to them as they progress, you know, because of Tahl. But it will be very interesting, I'm sure. Personally, I don't mind reading about Qui-Gon's life, I mean, Obi-Wan AND Qui-Gon are the main characters, right? Plus, I'm sure Jude Watson will soon shed more light on Obi-Wan's background soon.

    News Flash!!

First off the bat, LOVED the book! Next I must say I was shocked when I read the last line of Elliot's review. I had never thought of that! But who knows, maybe she's right. Next, on starwars.com (my sanctuary), they posted a cover art for book #15! Qui-Gon is in the foreground with his lightsaber activated. Obi-Wan is in front of him with his back turned to you. It seems they are chasing a black-cloaked figure at the end of a hallway. Incredible!! I must compliment Cliff Nielson for his work too!! And hurry up Jude! We need to know what happens!!!

    Mystery un-solved

There is a mystery in every Apprentice book. And most of the time they are solved. But not in this book.No one knows who killed Roan and Ewane and who kid napped the twins. This may sound impossible but I think that it was the Young and dark apprentice:Xantos. When you read the book it says that the kid napper is half human half machine, or at least thats what they think.

    I Don't Like The Ending!!!

I don't like the ending very much because it sounds (or looks) scary. I don't want anything bad to happen to Tahl!!! I also don't want anything bad to happen to Qui-Gon or Obi-Wan either, but that's beside the point. Everything else is great....NO! I take that back- Everything is OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
