    A great read

I read through the whole series in spurts. The stand alone stories in the beginning are easier to get into because you're not dragging out your interest too far. With that being said, this is probably my favorite book in the series even though it ties in with #8. Xanatos was a very good character. I know the thought process was, 'We need a villain, well here's a dark side guy,' but Jude Watson turned him into a great character. It fleshed out Qui-Gon in a way that Episode I didn't even come close to doing. This being the second run-in with Xanatos in the series really added spice to it. No, 'who is this guy?' We knew he was a baddie and one to watch out for. Also, the Temple is a great setting for a book. It's usually passed over as just a temporary location in this series and all prequel fiction but here it was the setting of a the whole book. All-in-all this is a great read if you have an hour or two to fill.

    One of the best!

This was so amazing!!! I can't belive on how well Jude wrote this book. She describes both Qui-Gon's and Obi-Wan's point well.Qui-Gon likes Obi-Wan, but he's afraid to trust him again. Obi-Wan can't understand why Qui-Gon and the other masters ignore and dispise him. I belive Obi-Wan grows up quite a bit in this book. He learns that making a desion has conqusiences and that they should be fully considered before choosing. Then he also learns the vaule of friendship. This book couldn't of been written better. Your doing a great job Jude!!!

Star Wars: Jedi Apprentice #7: The Captive Temple

Everyone was back including Xanatoes! I was soo glad Bant Eerin was in it again! But I was soo afraid she might...No I can't tell you if you havn't read it...but I was soo glad that Tahl was in this too, but I couldn't beleive about Toojay...Oh I shouldn't tell you that eiter...Okay so, I couldn't beleive that Bruck...Oh boy, I guess you'll just have to read it, but I should warn you, unless you are planning to be in the same place (on the edge of your seat) for the whole of the book I wouldn't read it! It was soo good and there were so many exciting surprizes and sudden shocks that I couldn't put it down! I highly recomend this book. Great job Jude Watson, keep them coming! Also great job Cliff Nielson this book had my favorite cover yet! Note from Garren: Who would like to submit that he had always wondered what it would be like to be in Obi-Wan's shoes (or boots)!

    more than 8 million stars

I just love Star Wars books. I really like this book it's the best out of all the j.a. books but the 9# one seems great I haven't read it yet. I love the way how qui-gon and obi-wan end up together.

    Back Home

When Obi-Wan Kenobi came back home, he'd never thought someone was intruding in the Jedi Temple. Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan must find out who the intruder is. It might be someone Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan both know.

All 5 Stars are for Obi-wan!!!

I loved this book! Finely they get Bant(Obi-wan's calomarian friend) back into it! I would be silly to give this book any less then 5 stars! I don't think 5 is enough as it is,let alone 4,3,2,or1!! Even if you don't like Star Wars you'll like this book! It's a story about danger, excitement, pasts, futures and forgiveness! It's definately worth reading!

    The #1 book

This is a GREAT book I think everyone should read. Most books take weeks for me to read, but the Jedi Apprentice books take a couple hours for me to read.Almost every week I go to Barnes& Noble to see if there is a new Jedi Apprentice book.

    AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great book!!! It was a little obvious who the intruder in the Temple was, if you've read the other books, but that's okay. This was a great book!! It was very emotional!! All the books in this series are!! I think Qui-Gon shouldn't be so strict with Obi-Wan!!! READ THIS BOOK!!!!!!!

Star Wars: Jedi Apprentice #7: The Captive Temple

Hey all you 13 year olds,I am NINE!!I love ALL of the Jedi Apprentice books.I read them all, and have them all as well as Young Jedi and Junior Jedi books. There is one problem with this book though, light sabers don`t short out in water. Read Young Jedi Knight book 'Crisis on Crystal Reef' A very old antique saber went in the Callamarian seas and worked.Otherwise the book is GREAT and,I still think it earned 5 stars.*****
